Microsoft Windows 7/Internet Explorer End of Life - January 14, 2020

Microsoft has announced the end of life for Windows 7 operating system. This will occur on January 14, 2020. This means that Windows 7 will continue to function, but once support ends, your PC will become more vulnerable to security risks - ultimately you will stop receiving security and feature updates. It is our recommendation that machines with Windows 7 that are older are replaced with the new computers that will come with a Windows 10 license. In the rare case that a machine is newer and has a Windows 7 license, we would recommend an upgrade to Windows 10. Below is a link that will answer some commonly asked questions.

In addition to the end of life for Microsoft Windows 7, they will also be ending support for Internet Explorer on the same date. Microsoft will then transition to Microsoft Edge their latest browser as updates and security patches for Internet Explorer will no longer be provided. If you would like to inquire further or have any questions, please reach out accordingly.
